Locktober Arrives……

Week 5 Review:

Last week I failed to lock it down, by going 3-2 overall and 3-2 against the spread.  In the future I will need to lock it down better.

 Week 6 Picks (note, most of the PAC 10 games this week suck.  The conference is really taking the week off):

 Arizona at OSU (OSU minus 3.5)

Zona just kicked the crap out of WSU last week, which was surprising, while OSU got destroyed by UCLA.  This week, OSU rights the ship and wins a truly terrible game, 24-17.  Lock it down.

Arizona St. at WSU (ASU minus 9)

I picked the Cougs last week and they couged it.  No lockdown ability whatsoever.  ASU just keeps rolling and I’ll will ride that train as long as I can, ASU wins 42-28.

USC at Stanford (I think SC is favored… yep… they are, by 40).

With Clover Park product Tavita Pritchard (when was the last time a Clover Park kid went to Stanford?) getting his first start at QB, I’m sure SC is really concerned about the Trees and their terrible offense (and defense).  The only question here is whether SC is going to bother to score enough points to cover, which they may due to having dropped in the polls this last week after a sloppy win at Washington.  USC wins 56-7.

Notre Dame at UCLA (UCLA minus 20)

So have you heard the one about that kid in Ohio who was beaten by his mother and told the judge he could not live with her anymore?  The judge responded by awarding custody to the kid’s aunt, causing the kid to panic and state that he couldn’t live with his aunt, or any other relative for that matter, because they all beat him worse than his mother did.  So the judge took the unusual step of allowing the kid to choose who got custody of him.  After a couple of hours the kid came back and said that he wanted custody to be awarded to the University of Notre Dame, because he was pretty sure they couldn’t beat anyone.  UCLA wins 38-14.  Lock that down.
