Ben Roethlisberger is a clown
I spent the first half of this week’s Pittsburgh-Seattle tilt on the floor of my bathroom after a rough Saturday night. Such are the pitfalls of starting your night at 3 pm. You’d think I’d learn and whatnot. Regardless, whenever possible I was yelling anti-Roethlisberger missives from my posh linoleum digs. When I made it up to watch the second half and see Big Ben (gay nickname not that there’s anything wrong da da da) complete pass after pass I worried that I’d jinxed the Hawks into a great Roethlisberger performance. Then I saw his numbers on the highlight shows later and had this revelation: Ben Roethlisberger played his best game possible, and still delivered a mediocre performance.
206 yards and 1 touchdown. Ooh la la. Ben Roethlisberger is a glorified Rex Grossman. He lives off of the running game and defense, and yet people are trying to contend he’s a great quarterback. He’s not. He’s a taller Trent Dilfer. His job is not to lose. “Good quarterbacks get results” is code for “Our quarterback needs a lot of help to win.” The Seahawks did not show up at all for last Sunday’s game and all Steely McBeam’s crew managed was 21 points. He was who I thought he was.
How’s that for some sour Tuesday grapes?

people can have a bad game but at least with Ben he has a team that can pick up the slack. Thats something the seahawks cant say b/c even with the bad stats for ben i guess you guys cant stop the red hot willie parker as he ran all over ur teams ass!!!!!!!! But Ben’s god given talent at QB certainly is shown in the many positive NFL all time records he also holds. WIth ben’s stella career stats including a 90.2 QB rating despite an injury proned 06 season…Ben is definitely in a league of his own compared to QB’s like sucky hasselback.So please dont down a QB that can kick your teams ass ; which he has shown that he can by redeeming himself this year in a 18-22: 206 yards and 1 touchdown performance giving the steelers a 21-0 win. So next time you try to put down the steelers why dont you think about your own team and maybe you will then remember that your team is one of the worst in the nfl. PRAISE THE STEELERS

Look at all that yardage!! I’m way impressed. This performance certainly isn’t the result of Baltimore’s ridiculously poor offense.
Face it: Pittsburgh took advantage of transitory years for the Pats and Colts, and then took advantage of corrupt officiating to win the Super Bowl. Kudos to them. But just like Kordell Stewart you fairweather Steeler fans will be singing a different tune shortly if the offense is ever required to win a game.

Big Ben is a bigger stronger more mobile Tom Brady. The only thing he lacks is the deep ball but he makes up for it by throwing on the run and eluding sacks, 2 things Brady nor Manning for that matter can do. If you watch any Steeler games you’ll see that they have NO offensive line yet Ben still makes plays. For people to say he is not an elite QB shows they know nothing about football.
“bigger stronger more mobile Tom Brady”? That’s comedy gold. One comeback against a terrible Cleveland pass defense does not a Brady/Manning make.
