Happy Thursday Thickepediacs!

I spend a lot of time looking for the right script. It’s tough when you’ve been pigeonholed as a genital-less tv dad. Luckily Thicke Inc. has struck digital gold recently with the in-production RoboDoc.

Pitch: A malpractice attorney is flustered by a robot doctor who can’t make mistakes because he’s been programmed with all of the medical knowledge in the world! Frankly, I have a bunch of lawyer friends who just pooped their pants at this concept.

It’s time for Alan Thicke to say something about the current state of healthcare, and RoboDoc is the perfect vehicle.

“But Thicke, why go political?”

As any genius knows, you get to a point in your career where you’re sick of shitting out the hits. Take Radiohead for example. They developed a can’t lose mix of catchy guitar jams and, like, totally deep musings on current culture. After selling millions of records, they decided it was time to release a ton of criminally unedited studio wankery. The best part? If you didn’t come along for the ride you just didn’t “get it”. Not to say that all experimentation is invalid….just that most is. DaVinci didn’t invent the Concorde on the first go, after all. Hey dipshits! Do a record about how you can’t write a chorus anymore!

What does that have to do with anything? Well, what do YOU have to do with anything!

Silverstieb! Get me an elephant ear and info! Crazy info! Today’s edition: The Larouche Youth Movement

I would just like to point out to the group that the cast list on RoboDoc includes Michael Winslow, also known as the guy who did the sound effects on Police Academy (and a Geico commercial).

The best part? He’s from Spokane!!!

I wonder, can he imitate the clock tower chiming four times on a breathtaking summer afternoon in Riverfront Park? Or the sound of Derek Raivio swishing yet another free throw?

Michael Winslow can imitate Spokane, I saw him do it at a comedy club. First, he claims to be an important part of the state’s socio-economic mix. Then, he showcases his inferior educational institutions. Finally, he wraps it up with a big finale whereby he shits in his hands and smears it all over his face and body to illustrate the aesthetic and cultural appeal.
