Hotdog

Nothing toughens up your city’s image like French soccer players. Seattle, already known throughout the country as a haven of wine-and-cheese mofos, is rumored to be chasing French superstar Thierry Henry.

He would potentially (read: this will never happen) join Sebastian Le Toux on the roster of the Seattle MLS team in 2009. I’ve been aware of this internet speculation but now that it’s in the P-I, consider it fact! Forget Sounders as a team name - let’s try Legionnaires!

Not enough French soccer for you? ETE is all over the new Zinedine Zidane movie this weekend.

What do you think? Is there a chance Joe Roth and Co. could pry Mssr. Henry away from Barca? Post your comments on this spicy hot Internet rumor below. Here he is below, looking remarkably like Bruce Bowen.

Is that Bruce Bowen?

    He would be a Spur.

The article that picture came from made a big to-do about Arsenal fans being shocked Henry was wearing a Spurs kit.

(As in London rival Tottenham Hotspur, for the uninitiated.)
