ESPN’s Mike Greenberg tabs John McLaren for Manager of the Year

Found this interesting/inexplicable tidbit in ESPN the Magazine. ESPNradio’s Mike & Mike were asked for their Manager of the Year predictions prompting the following blindfolded dart throw from host Mike Greenberg:

Greeny: John McLaren, Mariners. The M’s will be surprisingly good, and that all but ensures their manager wins this award.

So McLaren’s got that going for him…?
