JR Smith could be your father

Constable Echelon

JR Smith has emerged as one of my favorite players to watch in the NBA.

JR Smith’s flaws are myriad. His offense comes only out of one on one dribbling or fastbreak alley-oops. JR visibly does not care one bit about defense. You could argue that he is the embodiment of the Nuggets team that just got unceremoniously swept out of the playoffs.

Yet if you watched the Nuggets-Lakers series, you couldn’t take your eyes off of him. And there were a lot of superstars on the floor in that series. Here’s a backhanded compliment that is intended as praise:

JR Smith is like Ricky Davis if Ricky Davis were one of the top 3 athletes in the league. Let’s get to the tape…

The hilarious action in this one begins at :45.

This next video has some nice Jim Gray and JR emcee back and forth, as well as a shot that doesn’t make sense at 1:33

Announcers hate him. “The hot dog missed it!”

Still, I love the “Headbandless Horseman”

very entertaining post - i would also like to say that Josh Smith for Atlanta has been playing out of his mind. Perhaps I can finally be able to tell the two of them apart.

He is so filthy. Simply put, he does not give a fuck.

Did you hear about the two cell phone towers that got married? The ceremony was nothing special, but the reception was excellent!
