Easy there Boston fans.  Easy.  Your triumphant 7th game victory over the Atlanta Hawks isn’t cause for as much celebration as you are giving it.  Yes, it was a good win.  Yes it means that you are moving to the second round.  It’s definitely not a bad thing. 

However, the embarassment in this game does not belong solely to the members of the outmatched Atlanta Hawks.  Both sides should share.  The Hawks were embarassed, it’s true.  They inexplicably did not show up for the biggest game in 20 years for their franchise.  They played porous defense, inept offense, and got blown off the court.  But the jubilation and one-upsmanship displayed by Kevin Garnett and company display a fundamental misdunderstanding of the situation.
