Really? This is news? Because it reads more like a press release to me. Why am I seeing this in various outlets today (Yahoo and CNN, for starters) and why is “no really, OKC is awesome” a sports story?
If I was looking for an accurate and unbiased assessment of Oklahoma City-as-major-player, would I assign the story to a 1989 graduate of Oklahoma Christian University?
I look forward to the counterpoint article, “Remember how the city you’re taking the basketball franchise from is better than your city?” written by Harry the Husky, R-Bo, and the Dancing Ivar’s Clams.
