This past weekend, I learned to love Griff that much more.  

Coming out in the first inning of Saturday’s Reds-Padres game in San Diego, none other than Ken Griffey Jr. found himself the victim of some ribbing by a mulleted midget in the right-field stands (no photo, unfortunately). Griff, ever the jokester, responded with a world-class clowning - at one point dropping to his knees and doing a midget walk all around right field.

Sadly, we didn’t see Griff’s 600th homer - he is still stuck on 598. The guys at the Big Lead are wondering why no one is counting down 600 and Larry Stone says the Reds want to see it happen in a Cincinatti uniform.

What do you think? Will Junior ever return? It’s obvious we’re not going anywhere this season and attendance is plummeting, so what do we have to lose?
