Sager Bombs

2 managers off to bad starts.  Both manage teams that were picked to make the playoffs in the preseason by a lot of people.

Manager A has a $138m payroll, Manager B’s is $117m.

Manager A’s record is 24-26 (.480) , Manager B’s is 19-34 (.358).

Can someone explain to me why every day we hear the latest news regarding the status of Manager A (Willie Randolph of the Mets) while Manager B (our own John McLaren) has been receiving votes of confidence for a good week straight?  Really?  Votes of confidence?  Am I missing something?  The fuck kind of confidence has this season given you?

Could anybody win with that line-up? What’s the guy going to do differently? He isn’t making errors, striking out, etc.

I think we just need more kids like this little leaguer from Monroe.
