I think that missed shot just goes to show that Bones is still a Sonic at heart (not from the first time, but from the time we traded Kurt Thomas for him and then he was immediately waived). A true Spur would have done a much better job of flopping and/or getting bug-eyed with the offical.

Neither of us can look at that play objectively, Fig Jam.

Personally I think you don't call that in a playoff game, but I admit I'd likely have a different take had Tony Parker inadvertently run into Kobe. Kobe would have made it anyway though.

Missed you at hoops tonight.

They just missed each. GP left school in '90, Barry in '95. They both missed CJ Giles by over a decade.

If I were still watching the playoffs, I would have loved to see Bones flowing. That guy is awesome.

Did he play in the same backcourt as Gary Payton at Oregon State?

Oh... it was clearly a foul. Can't believe you'd argue otherwise. I just meant from the standpoint that Barry resurrected himself for 1 game and had the chance to be a hero. If you were a Bones advocate would that have been sweet, or would the fact that he did it for the Spurs override?

Even though I'm unhappy the foul wasn't called, that's how it goes. The Spurs have caught more than their fair share of breaks.

Sager - if you're looking for pictures of celebration, try googling the Spurs... their fanbase has had a lot to celebrate. Or I guess you could google the SEC. They celebrate so much better than the PAC 10, and they make better nachos.

I still love Barry, but that was a good no call in my eyes. Bones waited too long to shoot.

I won't be ready to enjoy things again until they're out, although I have started browsing for good pictures of people celebrating for the "Goodbye, Spurs" post I'll be writing.
