Fideo Friday: B-Roy – The Legend Continues
Brandon Roy added to his Resume of awesome things last night with a clutch performance against the Houston Rockets. B-Roy scored the final 5 points for the Blazers in overtime. The first 2 came off a sweet 20-ft. turnaround to put the Blazers up 98-96. The Rockets came down and Yao Ming hit an and-one (fouled by Roy nonetheless) jumper on the baseline, putting the Rockets up 99-98 with only 0.8 seconds left. 0.8 seconds? What is a mere mortal to do in such a short time period? There is simply nothing a man can do unless he possesses some sort of magical time-slowing talisman…
The Sorcerer delivers once again.

I have a man-crush.
I love that NBAtv runs the previous night’s Inside the NBA. If something like this goes down I immediately set my DVR the next morning to get Ernie, Kenny, and Charles’ take.
That shot was beautiful. Perfect footwork, great elevation, clean release, goregous arc . . . middle of the cup. You could try that a hundred times and not make it look that pretty.
Hard Working Bobby Jones Jr. ’bout ready to fuck shit up for the SkyForce:

I wonder if it’s painful to be so good…
I swore to myself not to watch another NBA game until the league righted the wrong that was done us this year, but after watching that clip I might have to just go full-hog for the Blazers. God that was pretty. I miss basketball.
