In Case You Aren’t Following The Kansas City Royals

Last year they had $35m tied up in Gil Meche, Jose Guillen, and Miguel Olivo.  They just gave Bloomquist 2 years at 3 million and signed Horacio Ramirez to a one year 1.8m deal. 

I can never remember the answer to this question: is it better to be the first bad evaluator of talent, or to not be able to learn from the mistakes of others?

    Hard to beleive that there is a more inept team at evaluating talent than the M’s.
