2009 Seattle Mariners: RIP
I’ve written this post four times over the course of this season. This Mariners team was on the cusp of irrelevancy time and time again. HOWEVUH, for whatever reason they just would not roll over for good. They always went on a little run to keep things interesting (but never enough to really contend). Maybe it was just the lousy starts of our division mates but I don’t care. I got to make 4 different tombstones and then delete them (joyfully). I got to watch baseball with an eye on the postseason for almost 5 months and that hasn’t happened in years. And I can’t wait to see what happens this offseason.
